Calling

For Amir, employment law is not just a job: it is a calling. His passion for representing employees stems from a formative experience. After dedicating four decades of hard work, loyalty, and commitment to his employer, Amir’s father lost his job because of age discrimination. Watching someone who had invested so much of his life and identity in his career be treated unfairly suddenly left a lasting impression on him.

The experience revealed how deeply a person’s identity, stability, and sense of purpose can be tied to their work. It also showed him how the effects of wrongful termination can impact entire families. That experience continues to fuel his passion for advocating for workers whose rights have been violated.

Exclusive Focus

Amir has practiced law since 2014 and has focused exclusively on employment law since 2017. He represents employees in a wide range of workplace disputes, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, leave-of-absence violations, disability accommodation matters, pregnancy discrimination, and wage-and-hour disputes.

Amir works with employees from all walks of life, including executives and professionals, as well as hourly and blue-collar workers. Regardless of a client’s position or income level, he believes every worker deserves dignity, respect, and fair treatment in the workplace.

Educational Background

Amir’s legal education spans some of the world’s most respected institutions. He earned an LL.M. in Dispute Resolution from UCLA School of Law and an LL.M. in Banking, Corporate, and Finance Law from Fordham Law School. He also earned both his JD and LL.M. in Private International Law from Sorbonne Law School, graduating Cum Laude.

During his time at UCLA, Amir was involved with the UCLA Pacific Basin Law Journal and externed for the Honorable Laurence Rubin at the California Court of Appeal, Second District. These experiences shaped the analytical and detail-oriented approach he brings to every case.

Trial-Ready Representation

Amir approaches every case as if it may ultimately proceed to trial. From the beginning of a case, he focuses on developing a comprehensive litigation strategy, conducting aggressive discovery, taking depositions, and building the strongest possible position for his clients.

His experience includes prosecuting individual employment claims and class actions against major employers, as well as prior experience working on the defense side of litigation. This allows him to anticipate how employers and their attorneys may approach a case.

Professional Achievements

Throughout his career, Amir has helped secure significant recoveries for employees facing workplace misconduct, including claims involving disability discrimination, age discrimination, pregnancy discrimination, whistleblower retaliation, sexual harassment, and failure-to-accommodate claims.

His work has been recognized through inclusion in the Top 50 Labor and Employment Verdicts (CA 2024) and the Top 100 Labor & Employment Settlements (CA 2023).
